Is less really more?
Who says? I’m pretty sure that more really is more … in most cases!
Ok, we don’t need any more war, violence or poverty. Got enough pestilence and disease. Doing fine with massive stores of loneliness and heart break.
Stocked up on all our financial losses we can afford at this time, just recently in fact.
All the religious and terrorist action is pretty much maxed out right now for us and we are currently so overloaded, we won’t be asking for any more. Thanks and good-bye!
But let’s go the other way and say, entertain that big old question of what if…
If you had all the money, or happened to be this worlds’ richest man (Bill Gates) what else besides (world peace) would you want that you don’t already have? Free Parking? A good night’s sleep? Less heartburn? Providing a good education and decent health care to under privileged kids in foreign countries?
Yeah all that could be good, or maybe you just wanted a nice big ice cream cone?
What, why and where could be this so-called more thing you’ve been looking for be? Will we need to see it to believe it before finding it? It must be something special?
Wouldn’t it have to be, shouldn’t you already have it all by now? You are a billionaire, what could be missing?
Maybe it’s a who?
How about more friends? Or, how about more rich friends who are also great at providing good leadership examples for this world. Say, like the #2 world’s most richest guy?
Yes, it’s supposedly true that Warren Buffet and Bill Gates are good buddies who like to meet up, play cards, board games and talk about fixing all the worlds problems. Sound familiar… sounds like a supremely interesting good time with a couple of natural born leaders!
They should be challenging Donald Trump for President of the USA, shouldn’t they?
Obviously, they are either A) not cool enough or B) way too smart to be hanging out with the Donald. I would say it’s B) they got smarts.
This great example of two American World Citizens doing more than most in government to demonstrate good leadership, not just talk (like most political types) real actions in helping to defining examples of how we can all give more to others!
Most people will say they have everything they need. Almost!
I’m only guessing, but it seems these two guys (worlds’ richest, with over $100 Billion in wealth is bigger than the annual GDP of the 63rd Countries on the List: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal) ) are just nice guys. They don’t act like they own the Monopoly Game, they just want to play with this world sized board game. It’s not like they want to be on the TV news, they seem to be more practical, not too flashy, kind of ‘down to earth’ without the big flashy, swagger and Huge Hair… Donald?
I wouldn’t be too shocked to meet them in person and find out they are plainly honest and good guys.
Let’s just hope so, it makes everything seem more friendly and a builds the trajectory for a better ‘bedtime happy-ending’ type close to the final storyline. Not so sure how a meeting with the Donald would go? I don’t really want to meet him (or hear his story) anyway.
We should all be proud that these two white american old rich guys are willing to step up to the plate and make ‘it’ happen. Putting others first and spending our time and money to help others less fortunate is noble and worthy of even more praise than they get!
Haven’t ever really thought this or got this feeing about the Donald… Guess he’s been trumped! (Sorry, just couldn’t resist!)
We should be happy about this silver lining inside these powerful capitalist clouds today. When they rain down it brings good things where needed. Some may say this is just some ‘Romantic Capitalism’ which is all for the amusement of the rich and the appeasement of the less so financially endowed.
Why shouldn’t these guys get to sit on top of their stack of cash, drink their gin and tonics, (I don’t think either one of them smokes cigars) and play their parlor games? They worked hard, built value, created wealth and deserve to enjoy the fruits of their labour.
They didn’t talk about more, or make more promises. They actually did it. They are giving away most of their fortunes to help humanity! This is a grand demonstration project on a scale never seen before. American citizens extending their reach beyond government and geographic boundaries to serve those in distress with much needed strategy and resources to support better life and living for all world citizens. Going past issues with race, religion or political stripe to just give more to help others who are in need.
This is worthy of respect, maybe more?
It must give them great pleasure because they carry on with this giving attitude in trying to convincing other rich people they might actually do the same and give away cash to cure the world and make it a better place for all life on the planet.
Maybe they should be sainted? I say they deserve it and more!
These two guys have found the More that many people seek and never find, many times over… This is the greatness they possess and it will be their legacy in life.
Know the feeling of success as they know it and how to find it in doing the right thing, at the right time, in the right way to win, again and again!
It must make them feel even more terrific than being the richest men alive!
Success comes from creating positive action. All these small acts of thinking about and caring for others pays more than any cash dividends can provide.
This sense of contribution and giving more than what we take is the ultimate more that adds the most to life!
This is the gift the magic of this kind of more can give to us. And it feels incredible!
There is no less in this more space… With this kind of feeling it’s like love ->More is actually more and you don’t really feel like it’s too much!
Sometimes when it (money) is out of the way and the fantasy or F.E.A.R. (Fantasized Experiences Appearing Real) are removed, people chill out, relax and can act freely to just do the right thing – the first time!
Not like the governments, politicians and the bureaucrats, these ‘Billionaire Buddies’ really do know how to get things done right, on time, on budget and on plan – the first time.
Another good example of people adding more to life for the sake of others enjoyment and or continued employment, is the Versace Brothers in Italy.
The Versace’s are financing 100% of the rebuilding and refurbishing of the Coliseum in Rome. Otherwise it was destined to continue falling apart and becoming an embarrassment and an eyesore for all the visiting tourists. In other words this attraction wasn’t so attractive and was in risk of bringing shame to Rome and Italy.
When asked why they would take on this huge restoration project and spend millions of their own money, this was their brutally honest and truthful answer. We could have given our money to the government. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t matter how much of our money we gave to the government, it would all disappear and we would still have the same problems with the Coliseum, only it would be much worse after about another ten more years of time or more having passed by with no government action.
This has been the unfortunate experience with government in many countries lately. Their governments get in the way of the good, they argue and over many time extensions and delays, they make things worse and drive up cost by usually 10 to 20 times more than would have ever be accepted at the start. Then after all BS, lying and bureaucratic cheating is exposed – things end up costing 100 times more.
Around the world, everyone is losing faith in government. Who is looking out for us now? The government was to serve the people first, not themselves. We definitely need MORE GOOD LEADERS PLEASE… Anyone could probably out do the current crew. We must change this before more economies end up broken on the rocks like Greece!
Italy needs more people like the Versace’s Family who care for their country and like most Italians, they like to keep their property values going up into the more value rather than going down in the less direction.
Giving more is the more everyone can add to their life!
Having a cause, caring, making a contribution, helping others in need, or not in need – just adding more to helping others helps add more for everyone!
It doesn’t take money to smile, say a kind word, give some financial aid or emotion assistance and support, or just making the effort to make the offer really does add up and it definitely means – More.
This is the kind of more we can all agree we need to encourage more and get more into our life and the lives of others.
