The Price of Oil is Always Killing Us… REALLY >WHY?
We hear so many conflicting stories about what’s happening with oil these days it makes you want to take drugs!
Last year the price of gas was killing us because it was too high, now it’s the low price of oil killing us – just one year later? (WTF!)
This is the difference in the USA having an oil shortage, then a surplus. The shale oil from Fracking has made the USA one of the world’s top oil producers.
So as a results of over-supply the OPEC bad boys decided to run the price down… Now it’s a race to the bottom and nobody really knows who will win.
One thing for sure is that many of the oil producing nations in the middle east are sitting on huge bank accounts and can play the waiting game.
Now money is worth more than oil, IT changes everything!
Those ISIS terrorist have moved from about $3 million a day to only about $1 million in oil revenues, due to the lower world prices. That’ good! Let’s have no mercy on terrorists!
It’s not good for Alberta, Russia and many other economies that are addicted to oil and solely dependent oil to pay for everything else in their plan?
Now this obsession with oil and the delay in the Canadian thinking of Stephen Harper to diversify and grow another leg to stand on!
We are way to dependent on selling our resources to pay for our survival.
I say Stephen Harper should leave Ottawa and go back to Alberta and retire in a beach front on the oil sands!
Let’s hope the “Dialogue” the Northern Gateway keeps wanting will go away?
When does No mean NO?
It seems that the dialogue of Canadians is missed when we say NO (to more to the “Stephen Harper Government” or anybody connected to oil or the oil patch) NO MORE BIG OIL.
Really, relying on these super mega projects, created short term work for the people and long term profits and huge tax revenues for the governments. As long as markets don’t change!
Currently we live in the age of disruption.
Just check out all the new electric and alternative energy vehicles showing up a car shows.
Tesla is now the highest rated luxury vehicle sold to educated and affluent consumers (it takes no gas) and is selling like crazy.
Maybe we should think about the future of Canada without planning to pay our way with oil, a dirty product (that’s always been in over-supply) and is literally killing us and the earth.
Now is the time to clean up our act and lose our addiction to paying for everything with oil.
With a new government we can do more and have better life in a clean Canada!
Let’s retire Stephen Harper and send him back to Alberta where he came from.
Get ready to Vote this year – sooner or later…
Say NO to BIG OIL and let’s start opening some new doors 🙂
